Description
Philippine Office Core Accounting & Operations:
- Invoicing: Prepare and issue Export Services invoices from the Philippine office to affiliated Middle East offices.
- Payroll Administration: Manage the complete payroll cycle for all Philippine based employees, ensuring accuracy in salary computation, benefits, and statutory deductions.
Financial Reporting & Bookkeeping:
- Perform end-to-end bookkeeping, maintaining accurate and up-to-date registers (Invoice, Bank Payments, Receipts, Purchase, and General Ledger).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements (Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Liaising with bank and financial institutions.
- Philippine Government Compliance (Mandatory):
- Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR): Prepare, file, and pay all mandatory taxes including but not limited to Withholding Taxes (WHT), Value Added Tax (VAT), and Annual Corporate Income Tax. Ensure strict adherence to deadlines and regulations.
- Social Security System (SSS): Prepare and submit monthly contributions, loan amortizations, and quarterly/annual reports as required.
- Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth): Manage monthly contributions and ensure timely filing of all related reports.
- Pag-IBIG Fund: Administer monthly contributions, monthly reports, and annual requirements.
Support to Middle East Offices:
- Accounts Receivable Support: Actively assist the Middle East teams in monitoring and following up on outstanding customer collections.
- Invoicing Support: Provide assistance in the preparation and issuance of invoices for customers as requested by the Middle East offices.
- Audit Assistance: Support the Middle East offices during internal and external financial audits by preparing necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy,
- Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in general accounting, full cycle bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Extensive and hands-on experience in BIR tax preparation, filing, and compliance (WHT, VAT, Corporate Tax). This is non-negotiable.
- Solid experience in processing payroll and managing SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions and reports.
- Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Discretion and integrity when handling confidential financial information.
