Position title
Accounting Assistant
  • Prepare Placement Fee invoices
  • Send invoices to Candidate
  • Complete reconciliations on Candidate loans
  • Credit card processing and reconciliations
  • Recover funds from Candidates
  • Update fixed asset register
  • Prepare all other Client related invoices
  • Enter receipts
  • Enter company related payables
  • Prepare payments for approval
  • Credit card processing and reconciliations
  • Complete reconciliations on Candidate loans
  • Refund client TRA deposits when due
  • Monitor subscription requirements
  • Prepare contractor payments
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Enter transactions from bank account statement(s)
  • Prepare payment of expenses or liabilities as required
  • Reconcile bank account
  • Prepare annual renewal of Business Permits
  • Acquire quotes for CAPEX and other company service requirements
  • Send prepaid plan allowance communications to employees
  • Control supplier and service provider contracts
  • Prepare time keeping report
  • Administer employee leave, benefits and services
  • Process all new employee related memberships across government bodies
  • Maintain and update employee files, information and other requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related course
  • 2-3 years experience in handling general accounting such as payables, receivables, general ledgers, bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, timekeeping and payroll and fixed assets
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Keen to detail
  • Understands how recruitment and staffing industry works
