Internal Management Account (Senior Officer Level)
Description
The Senior Officer for Internal Management Accounting will take a more active role in financial reporting, forecasting, and analyzing internal financial data. This role involves more complex financial analysis, reporting to senior management, and supporting strategic decisions to improve operational performance.
- Prepare detailed monthly management reports (MR), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads.
- Perform in-depth variance analysis to identify and address financial discrepancies.
- Review financial performance against budgets and report key insights to senior management.
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory compliance by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and year-end closing activities.
- Collaborate with other teams to provide strategic financial insights for decision-making.
- Mentor and support accounting officers/junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 3-5 years of experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
- Must have experience working in an auditing firm.
- Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Peachtree, etc.).
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data and present actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
