Internal Management Accounting (Officer Level)
Description
The Internal Management Accounting Officer is responsible for supporting the internal financial processes, including monthly bookkeeping, preparing monthly management reports, assisting with budgeting, and ensuring accurate financial data for internal stakeholders.
This role works closely with other finance team members to provide insights for management decision-making.
- Manage bookkeeping and transaction recording for assigned accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports (MR).
- Support the budgeting process, including gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial data entry into accounting systems.
- Assist with variance analysis and identifying areas for cost-saving initiatives.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate and communicate with colleagues from other local offices in terms of billing concerns, supplier invoices, application of payments and collections, payroll concerns, etc.
- Help with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Prepare financial reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of accounts.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
- [3–7] years of experience in manufacturing, subcontractor management, supplier management, or production planning.
- Experience working with contract manufacturers or outsourced production preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF, AS9100, etc. – as applicable).
- Contract negotiation and supplier performance management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
- Negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and priorities under tight deadlines.
- May require travel to subcontractor sites.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment with tight production schedules.
