Field Service Technician
Description
A field technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper installation, functioning and maintenance of valves in Water/Wastewater/Water Treatment/HVAC and Industry installation.
The responsibilities may include:
- Installation and Maintenance:
- Supervise during installation of valves and actuators.
- Perform calibration/Test of electrical and Pneumatic actuators, AUMA/ROTORK/FLOWINN/FESTO etc.
- Participate in site testing and commissioning.
- Perform Hydrotest of valves inhouse or on site with customers.
- Perform installation and test of Gear and Actuators inhouse and on site.
- Troubleshooting:
- Field technicians diagnose and troubleshoot issues identifying and resolving problems such as leaks, blockages, or malfunctions in equipment.
- Troubleshooting of Valves and actuators in case of malfunctions.
- Participate in site testing
- Emergency Response:
- Being prepared to respond to emergencies, such as leaks, spills, or equipment failures.
- Field technicians may need to act quickly to minimize damage and ensure that customer can run their operation.
- Field Inspections:
- Conducting regular inspections of Valves and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with standards.
- Inspection of valves and actuators in connection with Quality Claims.
- Identify potential root course for failures.
- Recordkeeping:
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and any repairs performed.
- Fill out inspection reports Quality claim reporting.
- Safety:
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others on construction sites
Qualifications
- Applicants must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience with Electrical Actuators like Auma, Rotork , Bernard or other brands for Water , Industry and HVAC valves.
- Proven experience with Water valves , from operations / maintenance / installation of Water Treatment, Wastewater or water distribution are preferable
- Basic understanding of different type of valves for Water, HVAC, and Industry - function, application , installation.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing work schedules when necessary.
- Must be professional , organized and provide high quality customer service. Ability to work independent and alone on customers sites
- Able to communicate in English in writing and verbal , to be able to communicate with the company Globally for troubleshooting , technical training etc.
- Able to travel to site all over Philippines
