Description

The General Manager - IT/BPO Projects will oversee and manage all phases of project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with allocated budgets and regional cost parameters. Additionally, the role entails ensuring resource availability, maintaining quality standards, and meeting deadlines while adhering to time, cost, and compliance requirements specific to the region.

Project Planning & Execution

  • Strategize and oversee all project aspects within the region, including scheduling, resource management, cost control, quality assurance, and compliance, while ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, identifying key activities and tasks for successful project delivery.
  • Determine project goals, establish evaluation measures, and monitor progress in close
    collaboration with senior management.
  • Ensure proper execution of the project plan, adjusting as needed for optimal outcomes.
    Budgeting, Resource Management & Reporting
  • Manage project budgets, allocate resources, and schedule timelines in alignment with senior management.
  • Monitor and approve project expenditures, forecast revenue and profitability, and manage cashflow in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular project status updates and progress reports to key stakeholders.
  • Implement corrective actions swiftly to address and resolve project issues.

Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Adhere to regional policies, ISO standards, and compliance guidelines, ensuring all projects remain within regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders, responding promptly to their needs and demands.
  • Support global projects, bid processes, and scoping activities while leading project management office initiatives in the region.
  • Ensure the successful rollout of special projects in neighboring regions, contributing to smooth cross-regional collaboration.

Team Management & Succession Planning

  • Manage and develop staff, including performance management, training, and career
    development.
  • Create and maintain a robust talent pipeline to ensure succession planning (1:2 ratio).
    Environment, Social & Governance
  • Oversee corporate governance within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with
    organizational principles, policies, and regulations.
  • Promote judicious use of natural resources and adhere to the organization's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines.
  • Drive the organization's sustainability initiatives, working towards achieving established targets.

Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS)

  • Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual.
  • Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices.
  •  Ability to identify and evaluate risks related to bribery in various business contexts. For more detailed explanation, follow the ABMS manual.
Qualifications
  • Applicants must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines.
  • Graduate/ Postgraduate or Global equivalent degree with Project Management Professional
  • Certification.
  • 10 – 15 years of management experience in a related role.
