Job Summary:
The Head of Sales is responsible for leading and managing the company’s sales team to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and build strong customer relationships. This role develops sales strategies, monitors performance, and ensures profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement annual and quarterly sales plans
  • Set revenue targets and KPIs for the sales team
  • Identify new market opportunities and distribution channels
  • Develop pricing strategies aligned with company margins
  • Establish annual sales growth targets and market expansion plans to increase revenue and market share.

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise sales managers and sales representatives.
  • Set individual sales targets and monitor performance
  • Conduct regular performance reviews
  • Motivate and build a high- performing sales culture
  • Implement performance improvement plans for underperforming team members and recognize high-performing sales staff.

3. Business Development

  • Build relationships with Key Accounts (modern trade, distributors, HORECA, etc.)
  • Negotiate major contracts and agreements
  • Strengthen the company’s market presence by identifying new market opportunities, expanding into untapped territories, and developing new customer segments.
  • Lead initiatives to acquire new key accounts and strategic partners to expand the company’s customer base.

4. Sales Operations and Reporting

  • Monitor sales performance and profitability
  • Prepare sales forecasts and reports for management
  • Manage sales budgets and expenses
  • Coordinate with supply chain to ensure stock availability

5. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor pricing and strategies
  • Analyze market trends and customer demand
  • Recommend product positioning improvements
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and potential growth sectors.
  • Provide regular market intelligence reports to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Applicants must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing Management, or related field
    • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 5–10 years of sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
    • Experience managing sales teams and key accounts in HORECA, modern trade, or FMCG sectors.
    • Experience in fast-moving consumer goods, food trading, or importation business is a strong advantage.
    • Proved track record achieving revenue targets.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of sales strategy, planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
    • Familiarity with sales reporting and performance monitoring.
    • Solid knowledge of pricing strategies, contract management, commercial negotiations, and profitability analysis.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and provide actionable insights for business growth.
