ICT Support Engineer
Description
- Manage Information Technology systems and infrastructure nationwide (BGC-HO and Ext. Offices)
- Provide support and resolution to all IT-related requests/issues and escalate to ICT Manager if necessary
- Assess and recommend IT systems and infrastructure upgrade
- Install, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, printers, smartphones, network peripherals and authorize software
- Manage organizational units, users, computers, and groups in Active Directory
- Perform backup operations of servers and workstations
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify and prevent any possible intrusions
- Ensure software updates are applied and kept up to date on servers, desktops, laptops, and network peripherals
- Manage IT assets of hardware, software, and licenses
- Assess and review IT General Control according to company standards
- Collaborate with other IT personnel based in the Asia Pacific
- Liaise with vendors for the purchase of hardware, software, and licenses
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs)
- Create a new account and network access to onboarding employee/s
- Process IT payables
- Improve policies and procedures
- Provide orientation, training, and security awareness to all employees.
Qualifications
- Applicant must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines
- Experience with the following technologies:
- Software Windows 2003/2008/2008 R2/2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022,
- Windows 10/11 Operating System,
- Veeam Backup, MS Sharepoint 2013/Sharepoint online, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS, VPN, CRM/D365,
- MS SQL, Web Application/Development, MS Office 2013/O365, VMWare, File and Print Server, MS Azure management, AWS, Cloud Access Storage Broker, TrendMicro AV, Robotics process automation, Artificial intelligence
- Hardware Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Firewall, WiFi Access points, IP based CCTV, PABX, Biometrics,
- Storage Area Network, Network Area Storage, Projectors, Video & Teleconferencing, Smart Phones, Printers, Network - (Switches, Routers, VPN)
- With extensive experience in implementing, managing firewall equipment, CASB, WiFi Accesspoints
- In depth understanding of network infrastructure, topologies, design and implementation
