Description
  • The NOC Analyst I will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our network and systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • This entry-level position offers the opportunity for growth and development within our organization.
  • Manage Windows and Network Device Patching troubleshooting and resolution, as well as pro-active engagement for critical items.
  • Find the systems that did not patch or do not meet the VC3 criteria from the patching reports. Verify that systems are doing patching.
  • Analyze the root causes of the patching failures and categorize them by severity, impact, and urgency.
  • Communicate the patching issues and remediation plans to the relevant stakeholders, including the clients, NOC Analyst
  • Manager, and the technical teams.
  • Execute the remediation plans according to the agreed schedule and monitor the progress and results.
  • Identification and troubleshooting of complex network and system issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network and system configurations and changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure all Tickets are properly created and notated to account for time.
  • Perform patching audits and confirm systems are receiving patches.
  • Follow playbook for patching and updating and managed systems.
  • Maintain accurate and real time timesheets, record complete and accurate notes of troubleshooting and communication with clients.
  • Where appropriate, escalate complicated issues to a more senior resource or other appropriate teams.
  • Review Tickets KPI’s with NOC Overnight Manager.
  • Participate in Team Huddles, L10 Meetings, One on One
  • Meetings, and any other necessary Team Meetings.
Qualifications
  • Applicants must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines.
  • 2+ years of experience in network and system monitoring or related field.
  • Experience with network and system monitoring tools; ConnectWise Ticketing, OpenDNS, Kaseya VSA, and PRTG a plus.
  • Knowledge of advanced networking concepts such as load balancing, VPN, and firewalls.
  • Advanced understanding of server and operating system concepts, including Windows and Linux.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks, as well as to direct others on proper task prioritization.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
