NOC Engineer
Description
- Perform regular remote standards alignment audits of client environments.
- Analyze client LAN and WAN infrastructure to identify technology lifecycle anomalies, issues, faults, and incomplete configurations.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Populate audit findings in a IT roadmap strategy tool.
- Review software portals to true up tool usage and software license counts.
- Update warranty and support renewal configurations.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, infrastructure reports, workstation reports, and other strategic deliverables.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for client system configurations.
- Keep an up-to-date application inventory in CMDB.
- Apply firmware updates to hardware.
- Audit privileged accounts on firewalls, ActiveDirectory and Cloud services.
- Audit monitoring and backup jobs clients are entitled to, and ensure logging is enabled.
- Review All Device Hardware, via iLO, iDrac, SAN management and/or VM management.
- Ensure logging is configured on entitled configurations.
- Participate in team huddles, meetings, and company forums.
- Document issues in a ticketing system and escalate to appropriate teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of LAN and WAN infrastructure, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot technology lifecycle issues.
- Proficient with Microsoft365 application provisioning, billing, configuration.
- Experience with major brands of firewall and switch management such as Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, PaloAlto
- Proficient with documenting IT hardware and software
- Proficient with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, or ConnectWise Manage.
- Experience with configuration management databases (CMDB)
- Intermediate Microsoft and Cisco certifications preferred
- Experience working with a managed service provider preferred
- Experience with IT audits preferred
- Strong written and verbal English
- Willing to work at night.Remote work will be allowed.
