Purchasing Manager

The Procurement Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring that all requested items and services are delivered on time, with high quality & approved specifications, are controlled and authorized, are from registered suppliers, are properly accounted and that all payments are made on time. He/She shall employ effective internal controls over purchasing transactions and reduce the administrative costs of acquiring goods and services. He/She shall strengthen integrity and confidence in the purchasing system.

The Asset Manager is primarily responsible for managing a company’s assets. He/She shall oversee the acquisition, maintenance and disposal of assets. He/She shall be responsible for ensuring that assets are utilized efficiently and effectively. The asset manager shall work closely with other departments to identify the needs and make recommendations for asset acquisition, inventory and disposal. Job description included developing and implementing strategies for managing assets, including maintenance schedules and replacement plans.

A. Purchasing

  • Supervises the overall function of the Purchasing Department
  • Establish ways, studies, analyses to control or lessen department’s expenses.
  • To handle various sourcing activities for equipment, goods and service providers that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the Company within the agreed timeline
  • Review, evaluate and recommend specifications for issuing and awarding of bids together with the proponents.
  • Prepare necessary documents such as Quotation, Tabulation/Canvass Sheet, Purchase Terms and Conditions from Suppliers and monitor Contracts and service level agreements
  • To acquire new vendors and/or suppliers and updating Supplier Pool by implementing a standard Supplier Accreditation Procedure.
  • Maintain and monitor reliable Vendors, Suppliers and Contractors.
  • Negotiate vendor terms and prices to control or lessen the Company’s expenses.
  • Update end-users about the status of their requested items
  • Record, maintain and keep Historical Purchases updated.
  • Prepares report for management meetings – weekly updates and month end reports
  • Performs tasks and other functions as may be assigned by his/her manager

B. Asset Management

  • Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Consolidate and conduct timely physical inventories to validate the accuracy of records and assess renewal needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records, including acquisition, disposal, and maintenance history
  • Maintains and manage office equipment – company laptops, phones which includes coordination with the providers
  • Monitor the movement of assets to other locations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records, including acquisition, disposal, and maintenance history
  • Submit movement of Assets to the Department Head for approval and documentation.
  • Consolidate and Monitor repair status of Equipment.
  • Consolidate and Report summary of Disposal and Retirement of equipment per month.
  • Coordinates and keeps record of claim for equipment under warranty.
  • Coordinate with maintenance team for Equipment Repair Schedule.
  • In-charge of Disposal of unrepairable equipment.
  • Record, monitor and analyze Spare Parts usage and Lifespan.
  • Monitor accomplishment of Job Orders for equipment repair.
  • Printing of Asset Tags
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments on asset management issues
  • Applicants must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines
  • College Graduate of any course, preferably in Business or Relevant to Construction & Engineering
  • Knowledge in Construction Materials and Vendor Contracts or Agreements.
  • At least 3-5 years of relative experience in Purchasing, Subcontracting and Asset/Inventory Management.
