Service Engineer
Description
- Directly reporting to Technical and Services Operations Lead
- Responsible for onsite or remote diagnosis and repair services to customers
- Diagnose desktop problems and come up with solutions to repair
- Identifies specific parts needed to order for repair services
- Software installation such as OS patching, and testing them to ensure they are working correctly
- Keeping track of all service tickets assigned and ensuring the vendor KPIs are met
- Fill out detailed technical reports and keep records on services that have been performed
- Performs maintenance and provide customer support
- Answering queries via email and phone
Qualifications
- Vocational or College graduate of any course. IT related course is preferred but not required
- At least 1 year Computer Technician work experience
- Service Center work is preferred but not required
- Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot desktop, laptop such as Lenovo, Asus, Samsung, HP, Acer, Dell
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other office applications)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service, problem solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to do multi-tasking and work well under deadlines
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include lifting of equipment and working in confined spaces
- Willing to travel and do on-site support to customers
- High quality organizational skills
