Solutions Architect-Infrastructure

The Solutions Architect for IT Infrastructure is responsible for designing and implementing
scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions that meet the organization’s
business and technical requirements. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders
across the organization to define infrastructure needs, select appropriate technologies,
and ensure the seamless integration of systems and platforms. The Solutions Architect will
lead infrastructure initiatives, provide technical leadership, and oversee the deployment of
IT infrastructure solutions that support organizational growth and innovation.

• Infrastructure Design & Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of
  complex IT infrastructure solutions, including data centers, cloud environments
  (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), networking, storage, security, and virtualization.
• System Integration: Develop architecture that integrates infrastructure
  components (servers, storage, networking, etc.) and ensures seamless
  interoperability across hybrid environments (on-premises, cloud, and hybrid).
• Capacity Planning & Scalability: Assess current and future infrastructure needs,
  ensuring solutions can scale to meet business demands and performance
  expectations.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure that all infrastructure solutions comply with
  security best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g.,
  GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Technology Selection & Evaluation: Evaluate new and emerging technologies for
  potential inclusion in infrastructure solutions, keeping up with industry trends and
  assessing their benefits and risks.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with IT operations,
  application teams, security professionals, and business leaders to understand
  requirements, gather feedback, and design solutions that align with business
  needs.
• Infrastructure Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to optimize
  infrastructure performance, cost efficiency, and resilience, including load
  balancing, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
• Disaster Recovery & High Availability: Design and implement disaster recovery
  and business continuity strategies, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability
  for critical business systems.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Create and maintain comprehensive
  documentation for infrastructure architecture, configuration standards, and
  operational procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across teams.
• Cost Management & Budgeting: Work with business units and IT teams to
  estimate and control the costs associated with infrastructure solutions, ensuring
  cost-effective resource allocation.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical guidance to infrastructure engineers
  and other teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high
  standards.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Oversee the implementation of
  monitoring tools and practices to ensure optimal performance, quickly identifying
  and resolving issues in production environments.
