Supply Chain Asst. Director
Description
- Assist in developing and executing the end-to-end supply chain strategy to support production efficiency, service levels, and cost optimization.
- Oversee daily operations across procurement, inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Support demand planning and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment between production schedules and customer demand.
- Collaborate with the Production, Quality, and R&D teams to ensure availability and traceability of ingredients and packaging materials.
- Identify and implement process improvement methodologies to enhance supply chain performance.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage strategic vendor relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and compliance.
- Optimize logistics and cold chain processes to support food safety, shelf life, and regulatory compliance.
- Support sustainability initiatives, such as waste reduction, carbon footprint monitoring, and responsible sourcing.
- Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing direction, performance feedback, and development plans.
- Assist in preparing and managing departmental budgets, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be a PERMANENT RESIDENT in the Philippines
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of supply chain experience in the food processing or FMCG sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior management role.
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, perishability, cold chain logistics, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience with supply chain planning tools.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
