DOLE Encourages Firms to Send In 2023 Wage Reports Before June 15, 2024
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has mandated all private sector establishments to comply with their 2023 Annual Establishment Report on Wages (AERW) on or before the due date, June 15, 2024.
Labor Advisory No. 3-2024, DOLE cited that under the Labor Code of the Philippines, all private companies are mandated to comply with their 2023 AERW.
DOLE also stated, “All private establishments are required to register and log in to the 2023 Annual Establishment Report on Wages online portal at https://annualwagereport.nwpc.dole.gov.ph.”
Moreover, it noted that the online portal must remain open from March 15 to June 15, 2024 to contain report compliance. The report is required by the Wage Rationalization Act, which directs firms to submit with an authenticated detailed listing of their staff.
According to DOLE, AERW must entail the names of their rank-and-file employees, including learners, apprentices, and workers with disabilities, who were hired under the terms prescribed in the employment contracts, and their corresponding salaries and wages.
Data illustrated that 21,318 businesses conformed to the requirements of the 2022 Annual Establishment Report on Wages and the report for calendar year 2023 must be as of December 31, 2023.
